John has experience as a health and fitness instructor prior to his recovery. He now combines that knowledge with his education and associates degree in addiction studies from Pierce college and a certification in substance abuse counseling via CADT-II. With a history of 27 years of addiction and recovery, John has turned his darkest days into motivation and an education that he uses to help other addicts turn their lives around and live their best life. He believes being your best self takes work in all aspects of life, both physically and spiritually. His goal is to help recovering individuals find meaning in not only their life, but in themselves as well. He wants every recovering addict that he has the chance to work with to develop a life worth living without the use of drugs. John has been with Chandler Treatment Center for 3 of his 6 years working in substance abuse recovery. His goal is to pass on what was so freely given to him and help change the lives of other fellow addicts in a brutally honest and real world approach.
